  • Denver Academy was founded in 1972 and is internationally recognized for the quality of its programs.
  • DA is one of the largest schools serving students with learning differences, in the country.
  • DA serves approximately 400 students, grades 1-12.
  • More than 90% of each senior class is college bound.

  • DA hosts a symposium featuring nationally renowned experts in the fields of education and learning. Featured presenters include Dr. Daniel Amen and Rick Lavoie.
  • DA’s teaching methodologies have been implemented in different schools across the US and Canada.
  • DA hosts a Writer’s Square project which has featured prominent authors such as Henry Winkler, Joanne Greenberg, Connie Willis and renowned science fiction author, Edward Bryant.
  • Post Katrina, DA, as part of its character education program, adopted East St. John’s Elementary School in Louisiana. Students raised more than $1600 for sweatshirts and other school supplies
