- DA’s teaching methodologies have been implemented in different schools across the US and Canada.
- DA hosts a Writer’s Square project which has featured prominent authors such as Henry Winkler, Joanne Greenberg, Connie Willis and renowned science fiction author, Edward Bryant.
- Post Katrina, DA, as part of its character education program, adopted East St. John’s Elementary School in Louisiana. Students raised more than $1600 for sweatshirts and other school supplies
