Will Stults: DA Class of 2012, Co-Founder of DumbWireless

Will Stults graduated from Denver Academy in 2012 and went straight into the workforce in sales. His work has taken him from Colorado to North Dakota (where he did not recommend the winters!) to Maine, West Virginia, and now Los Angeles, Calif., with other stops along the way.

Ever the entrepreneur, Will started a few businesses that did not make it. His current endeavor is a “dumbphone” company.

We recently reached out to Will after seeing a chat he had with Yahoo Finance. He and his girlfriend Daisy Krigbaum founded the company, Dumbwireless.com, in late 2022 after noticing a true need for people to reduce their screen time, particularly on their phones. Will says he is grateful that he attended DA for high school, acknowledging that although it is a small community, there is much diversity and phenomenal teachers. He encourages current DA students to “be friends with everyone.”

When asked about his advice to graduating DA seniors, he had this to say:

-- You think there is an ocean of time in front of you, but that does not exist. 

-- Be easy on yourself but challenge yourself as well. 

-- Good friendships and community are important!

-- Put down roots and find your people.
